How to assign my tags to different data, entities, or indicators?
Updated over 2 months ago

In the article "How to create tags on a project in my organization", we discussed the various steps that allow you to create tags on your project.

In this article, we will explain how to assign these tags to the associated data.
Several solutions exist to assign your tags.

- The first is to go to the edit screen of the entity, data (accessible from the template), or the relevant indicator to assign the desired tag.

Example for an entity:

Example for an indicator:
The assignment is made from the creation/editing space of the indicators in the "Indicator Information" box as presented below:

The second solution allows you to save considerable time as the association of tags can also be done in bulk, by tag list.

To do this, on the homepage of your project, you need to start by going to the "My tags" page:

1. Once inside the page, you will find an icon "label" next to your tag.

2. When you click on the label, you arrive on a table with all the values of the tag you have created.

Example:

Tag created: Scope

Corresponding values: Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3

3. You just need to check the data associated with the created tag values.

4. Once you have finished assigning the tag values to your various data/entities/indicators, don't forget to save.

5. On the data collection template or entity page, you can now see the assigned tags.

To modify the assigned tags, simply uncheck the corresponding boxes and check the desired data.

⚠️ It is not possible to check 2 tag values:

Let's take the example of the Scopes:

A data point cannot be assigned to 2 different scopes, so it is necessary to uncheck one scope to assign the data to another scope.
