It is possible to modify the reference framework set up in Toovalu. To do this, you need to go to the administration section of the tool and then to the relevant project.
You have a reference tab that will allow you to access modifications
Once on the reference, there are two options:
modify the categories and/or sub-categories by clicking directly on them (see blue arrow below)
add a category/sub-category by pressing the Add button (see green arrow below).
The form for adding or modifying categories/sub-categories is the same:
If you want to create a sub-category, you will need to choose a parent category for it. If you leave the field empty, you will create a category.
The field "Order of appearance" will influence the display of categories in your reference (1 = first in the order of appearance, 2 = second, etc.)
"Visible in the Analysis and Management/Strategy section": This option is checked by default. As its name implies, it means that your category or sub-category will be displayed in the Analysis and Strategy tab of the tool.
⚠️ If you uncheck this option, it will not be visible, but the data inside will still be taken into account in the calculation of your emissions.
So be careful of confusion when analysing your results if not all data is displayed.
You will then just need to click on Add or Modify to save your choices.
In this way, you were able to modify your own reference and adapt it to your needs!
