As a Pilot, you have the option to filter the view of the collectors in your organisation so that they can only access the data that interests them.
You can restrict the view at the level of one or more projects but also to certain data and entities.
First, to access the permissions management screen, you must go to your organisation's member list.
For each member, you have several icons at the end of the line; you must click on "Permissions Management"
Once on the concerned member's screen, you will be able to assign several items:
Project Assignment
As its name suggests, you will choose the projects to assign to your collaborator so that they can enter the values to collect.
Example below: Assignment of the project Climate
Once the project is selected, you can define restrictions on the entities and the data that are inside this project.
Entity
You can choose not to put any restrictions on the entities in your organisation. Thus, they will all be accessible to your collector.
To facilitate data collection and searching, we advise you to grant access only to the entities relevant to the collector.
Tags
Just like entities, you can make all the data from your template available.
Still with the aim of facilitating data searching and to allow your collaborator to easily find the data they are interested in, we advise you to assign the tags that concern them.
ℹ️ Note, access restrictions with the functioning of entities and tags require particular attention as this can have consequences for the visibility of data in several places in the tool.
What you need to know:
Between entities and a data tag, the filter works with an "and".
However, between multiple data tags, there is no linkage with an "and".
The user will have access to all the selected data and not a summary of the two tags (example above: the person will see all the data "BU commerce - part A + all the data "flights-travel").
They will not only see the data tagged "BU commerce" + "flights-travel".
