The base of emission factors of Toovalu Impact integrates several databases including the Base Carbone® (public database, managed by ADEME).
Updates of emission factors are integrated into Toovalu Impact with each version upgrade of the databases.
Sometimes, during a carbon assessment, it is necessary to use company-specific EF.
To do this, you should follow the following procedure:
First, you need to go to the Emission Factors page
Once on the page, it is necessary, before establishing any emission factor, to create a source. That is to say, create the source to which you will link your emission factors that you will build later.
In order to visualize and create a source, you should click on the gear icon located on the right side of the screen "View my sources".
Once you have clicked, you can observe the previous sources you created or create a new one. Just press "Add", then give a name to this source and associate it with its organization.
Once this step is completed, you must return to the Emission Factor page and this time press the Add button.
You now need to complete each line of the emission factor sheet.
Below is an example in video!
The categorization, unit, and location available in the drop-down menus correspond to those present in the Base Carbone®. If a location or unit is not available, do not hesitate to contact support or your project manager.
