How to add a breakdown by gas, by category, or by gas and category in an emission factor?

Updated over 2 months ago

As a partner, you have the opportunity to add emission factors yourself. If you want to know how to add an emission factor, you can use the following article:

By default, the emission factor you want to add is not broken down. If you need to break down your emission factor, you must go to "Structure" and choose the option that suits you. You can either break down your emission factor by gas, by category, or both.

When you break down your emission factor by gas, you have access to the main greenhouse gases, as well as a "Miscellaneous" column (Other gases from the Kyoto protocol) and "Other gas" (Other gases not found in the Kyoto protocol), which follow the decomposition categories of ADEME.

You can also choose the "Breakdown item option", where you will have the possibility to select and add different items within your FE, from the list also derived from ADEME.

Finally, you have the option to combine the two solutions mentioned above for even greater precision.

You now know how to break down your emission factors!
