Utility of Client ID - What are IDs for?
A "client ID" is a number associated with data. It will allow us to classify the data and display it in the desired order of appearance within the collection repository.
Thus, in the collection repository, data for which the client ID is defined as "03" will appear after the data with the client ID "02."
Consequently, client IDs will be useful for grouping certain data together and forming blocks of related data (e.g. energy consumption data).
données de consommations d’énergie).
Best Naming Practices
A Client ID = one data point
Structure of the client ID, preferably consisting of the type: (e.g. 13-SAN-02) 13-SAN-02)
· challenge number within the axis
· axis number
· first 3 letters of the challenge
· data number
Examples to Clarify
Example 1
Within my CSR repository, I want to organize my data "number of workplace accidents" which depends on the Health and Safety challenge, which belongs to the Social axis of my CSR approach.
I want this data to be listed just below that of "number of days lost due to temporary incapacity."
In my CSR repository, the Health and Safety challenge is numbered 3 (for the 3rd challenge of axis 1 Social).
Then I add the first 3 letters of the Health and Safety challenge (SAN) to facilitate identification for the collector (13-SAN).
Then I indicate "02" to signify that the data is the second that will appear in the block of Health and Safety data (13-SAN-02).

Example 2
Setting up the client ID for the "energy consumption" data that is part of the Environment axis.
The data "Energy Consumption" is located in the second axis (Environment) and in the energy challenge (22-NRJ)
It is the 2nd data point for this challenge
Possibilité d'ajouter A/B/C/D/... Possibility to add A/B/C/D/... : to define a level of precision within the same type of data or to express a time frequency related to the data collection.
22-NRJ-02-A : Energy Consumption - quarter 1
22-NRJ-02-B : Energy Consumption - quarter 2
