When a collection and analysis exercise is completed for a year. You have the option to close a campaign (an action that can be performed by your project manager).

You just need to press the "padlock" button for the campaign to be closed.

Closing a campaign does have an impact in the software, and it is important to keep in mind what this implies.

Indeed, closing a campaign leads to the locking of the campaign. More precisely, this leads to the transition of the reference framework present on the project to the campaign reference framework for the concerned campaign.

From the moment the campaign is closed, any modification made to the reference framework present on the project (entity, category, data, EF, tag ...), will not affect the reference framework of the closed campaign.

This is why we recommend closing the campaign at the end of a carbon or CSR assessment period. This allows you to freeze your campaign at a specific point in time.
