How to create/modify data in the collection Template?

Updated over 2 months ago

As a pilot, you have access to the Administration section (red banner), which allows you to create and modify your repository.

To access it from the Collection section (green banner), you can click on your First Name logo, then on "Open Administration."

You can then choose the project you want to work on, then click on "Template."

You then arrive at the collection Template. From here, you can click on "Add" to add a collection line.

You can then configure your collection line by selecting the following parameters:

  • The data name

  • The category in which your data will be stored. Note: if you click on the first item following your category, your data will not have any associated sub-item!

Example below: I want to place my data in the "Environment" item. There are many sub-items, but if I choose to click on "Energy", my data will not be associated with any sub-item.

  • For CSR a Client ID: it's a code to help you find your data more easily. It is optional, but if you want to learn more about its usefulness, you can refer to this article.

  • The concerned entities: to save time, you can use entity tags to configure a set of entities at once. Note, entity tags are quite different from data tags: here is an article to understand the difference between these 2 types of tags.

  • The associated tags: to know how to configure a tag, click here.

If you want to modify data that has already been created, you need to go to your collection template and click on the "Edit" icon located at the end of the row of the relevant data.

You will be able to modify:

  • The name of the data

  • The information necessary for collection

  • The associated emission factor

  • The category and subcategory

  • The entities concerned

  • The attribution of Tags

  • The calculation rule
